It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to rehome our babygirl Stella. Over the past few years our lives have changed considerably....many of our friends have started families and many have acquired their own pets. Despite socializing Stella at an early age, she still does not get along well with other animals and she has never been around children. We are hoping that there is someone out there who does not have kids or pets and would be a good fit for this amazing dog. She is a 6 1/2 year old spayed Female. (original owner since puppy) approx 55lbs. 19 inches tall. No hurry for her to go and will always be willing to accept her back if things don't work-out. No pressure to take her home, feel free to stop by and meet her and sleep on the decision if needed.
THE GOOD
- Cheap to maintain, around $55 per month
- Loving with her owners and other adults
- House & potty trained with doggy door. Non-destructive, indoor dog
- Overall healthy besides the common bulldog skin allergy that requires a pill every other day to suppress (pills provided & only cost $ 17 for 3 month supply)
- Great companion
- Loves the desert and river, never any indoor RV problems (bathroom / chewing, etc)
- Great guard dog
- She does some tricks
- Good on leash, loves short walks
- All supplies included, food, treats, bed, leash, ETC
- Obedient, comes when you call her name
- Always stays near her master and doesn't wander off
- Travels well (we just took her to the Grand Canyon) and is a good swimmer
- Does not drool or slobber like most think
THE QUIRKS
- Farts a lot if she eats any other food besides her dog food
- Never bitten anyone but has had no contact with children so she needs to go to a home with no children or other pets
- Not good with running or heavy activity, as with all bulldogs they can overheat easy and their airway becomes restricted
- Very reactive when she sees cats - barks, wants to chase, etc.
- Snores in her sleep
